http://www.polymerclaytv.com In this epsiode of Polymer Clay TV we show you how to take hollow copper pipe, polymer clay and Magic Transfer Paper and make hollow beads with a transfer all the way around them. One of the advantages of using Magic Transfer Paper is that you can bend the paper around something and it won't crack. This is a great technique to make a continous design. We will also show you how to cut the pipe into sizes good for making beads. Have fun!

We've discovered a great trick to keeping your tube-shaped beads from collapsing and changing shape. Plus, with Magic Transfer Paper for polymer clay images, you can actually transfer all the way around the bead with no danger of crackling or smushing your bead shape. Indiepublic is a great place to set up a free gallery. There are place to get inexpensive business cards, too. There is no excuse to not be accessible to potential customers online. In this episode we show you how fun Magic Glos can be to use with polymer clay and mixed media. Learn how to add Magic Glos to paper items as well as to fill in recessed areas of your clay designs. We also show you the UV lamp that works so easily to cure the Magic Glos resin.

In this episode of Polymer Clay TV we show you how a simple aluminum beer bottle can be used as an armature with polymer clay. We silkscreen a fun design on to the clay and add some fun embellishments. Have fun!

In these green days, when we are all looking to conserve, reuse, and recycle, why not make something beautiful out of something totally mundane? There must be an economic advantage to putting beer in decorative aluminum bottles. Whatever the reason, it leaves us with great raw material to decorate with clay! Think of the possibilities. The bottles are lightweight enough to use tin snips to change the shape of the top, or put a decorative hole in the side. Be sure to cover the entire thing, or you may experience cracking of the clay or sharp edges- you don't want to hurt anyone! So find your beer-guzzling friends, and next time a bottle is headed for the trash, ask for it so you can purposefully recycle it into art.

Well, Ilysa decided to show the incense burner idea this week! They are fun to make in clay, since you can either just make a tray to catch the ashes, or if you want to burn the cone kind, you can actually embed a small tile of glass to burn it on and that way you won't damage your clay. This is a great way to try out different surface decorations, including canework, since the whole point is just to make something pretty.
