Sun, 19 July 2009 Well, next week we're off to the Craft and Hobby Association show. It's always a lot of fun to go and see what's debuting in the crafting world. This time we plan to do, and film ourselves doing, a lot of the make & take activities. We figure if we try out some products and tools we'll come up with new ways to use them with clay!
Be sure to visit next week, we'll be putting up some of that footage for PCTV. Comments[0] |
Thu, 11 June 2009 We tried out Bakeshop, I tried it with 11& 15 year old boys, and they really loved it. They used it all up! I taught them basic sculpting and caning and they were able to do lots with the clay. It's a bit rubbery both before and after baking, and we haven't strength tested it yet, but be sure to come back next week- Ilysa is going to try it out and do some tests. Comments[0] |

Sun, 6 July 2008 Today we have a new episode of Polymer Clay TV for you to enjoy. This week we show you how to silkscreen on polymer clay. This is an easy and fun technique that anyone can master. All you need is some clay and acrylic paint. You will have to do some testing to see what brand of paint works best on the brand of polymer clay you are using. I had good luck with the Folk Art & apple Barrel brands on Premo brand clay. Enjoy! If you would like to try our Magic Transfer Paper which we demonstrated on last weeks video just send an e-mail to polymerclaypodcast@yahoo.com with your mailing address and we will get it in the mail.http://polymerclayproductions.com/cart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=15&zenid=a7550bd390b0e8361254632e8ffeb424 Comments[0] |
